"Our visitors to-day are the well-known Welsh side, Newport, whose team to-day includes four Internationals."

"The Leicester side is the same as the one that was victorious against Richmond last Saturday and we welcome L. T. Doyle in his first match on the Tigers' Ground this season."

"I would also like to congratulate Jim Morris on playing for Hants. & Sussex against South Africans and being the first player to score any points against them this season."

"I can now announce details of reserved seats for the following matches:-

 DECEMBER 1st—ENGLAND TRIAL.

Members' Stand        5/-.         Crumbie Stand        3/6d. "

"Applications for tickets, accompanied by cash, should  be sent to either Mr. R. L. Bedingfield, Lower Brown Street, or myself, P.O. Box No. 50, Northampton Street."

"DECEMBER 27th - LEICESTER v. BARBARIANS.

"Each member is entitled to one ticket free for the above match and may also purchase tickets for friends who wish to accompany him. Applications for tickets from members must be sent to Mr. R. L. Bedingfield, Lower Brown Street, before Saturday, 22nd Dec. and if tickets are required for friends then cash should be sent with applications. No application for free seats for members can be entertained after Saturday, 22nd December."

"I would also remind members of the following details with regard to the Leicestershire, East Midlands & Oxfordshire match v. South Africans on Saturday, 29th December:

"Applications by post must be accompanied by remittance, and be made to me at Northampton Street."

"There is a match on this Ground on Wednesday next, 24th October, when Leicester play Oxford University. Kick-off 3 p.m."

"On Saturday next, 27th October, the Tigers are away to Northampton but the "A" Team will be playing Northampton "A" on this Ground. Kick-off is again at 3 p.m."
