Played for Tumble, Neath and Newport RFC 1994-95 to 1995-96. Debut October 1994 vs Swansea at Rodney Parade (Lost 9 v 16). Scored hat-trick vs Tumble at Rodney Parade December 1995. Scored from KO in Welsh Cup S/F 1995-96 vs Neath (13secs).

Joined Swansea May 1996 where he won Welsh Cap, 1998 vs Zimbabwe.
