Born 2 July 1964 Caerphilly. The 6ft 7in Wales lock joined from Pontypool (capt 1983/4) in 1990/1. Sent off for Wales vs France 1990 and banned for 32 wks for stamping. Made Newport debut on Dec 29th 1990 v?s Neath (W19-7). This ended Neath?s 51 match unbeaten run against Welsh opposition. He made his return after 18 mths injury to play against Abertillery in 1995. Played for Monmouthshire. Won 9 Welsh caps 1988-1991 : 5 from Pontypool and 4 from Newport. Newport RFC : 1990/1-1995/6 : 86 apps / 3t.
