Went to school in Fairwater, Cwmbran. Joined Newport RFC in 1999-2000 from Bedford. Also played for Bridgend, Swansea, Cross Keys, Newport Saracens. Debut as acting captain vs Cardiff on September 4th 1999 at Rodney Parade (Won 18 v 13). Played 100th game at Bedwas in Cup (Won 27 v 10) on February 8th 2003. Apps : 1999/00 : 31 (14t), 2000/1 : 26 (7t), 2001/2 : 27 (11t), 2002/3 : 25 (13t). Total in 4 seasons of 109 apps (out of 133) and 45t. Scored 28t in Welsh League ? 2nd to M Mostyn with 33. 6 Euro Shield, 15 Euro Cup and 10 Celtic League apps. Wales A, Wales 7 capt ? many times incl 2003 Commonweath Games at Manchester. Wales cap in Argentina June 2004 while playing for NGD. Capt NGD 2005-06. 1999-2000 to 2002-03: 108 apps / 45t.

Joined First Division English side Doncaster as player-coach 2006-07.
