Born Sept 1st 1924, Newport. Won only Welsh cap vs England at CAP Jan 18th 1947. Went North and joined St Helens where he played for 8 seasons and helped win Cup in 1953 and played for Wales RL. Had to wait until May 1989 Welsh Cup Final to be presented with his cap. Played 52 times for Newport 1944-7 and scored 6 tries.
