Played for Blaina and Barbarians. Capt 1891/2 Invincibles. 12 Welsh caps 1890-1895 / 1t. Member of first ever Triple Crown team in 1893. Newport capt for 4 seasons 1889/93. > 200 apps : 1886/7 to1894/5. Considered to be one of greatest ever Newport captains.

Graham initiated a policy of weekly training in the teams gymnasium and an avoidance of alcohol. Welsh sports journalist 'Dromio' wrote that under Graham's captaincy '...the dressing room became a school for footballers'.
