Won 4 England caps (3: Feb-Apr 930) with Blackheath and 1: Jan 1934 with Gloucs. England debut as prop / other caps as flanker). Played 19 times for Barbarians 1931-7 (but only twice while with NewportCoached at Brighton College by Newport / Pill Harriers centre Ernie Hammett. 1928/9 to 1931/2: 61 apps / 9t.
