Born Oakdale 26 Feb 1945. Pontlanfraith Grammar (as Alun Pask also). Played for Rhymney and Cardiff TC. Played for Ebbw Vale (vs Newport April 1965) before joining Newport 1965/6. One cap v?s NZ in 1967. Toured Argentina with 1968 Wales team (capt J Dawes). Captained Newport in 1970/1(proudest moment) and 1971/2 as well as standing in for Geoff Evans (injured) in Centenary Season. Played 10 times for Barbarians (incl 1969/70 vs SA)and Crawshays and Monmouthshire. Played 210 times 1965/6-1974/5 scoring 55t including 20t in 1969/70 (club record for forward). Dropped goal vs London Welsh 12 Aoril 1971 at Rodney Parade. Represented Monmouthshire (Pontlanfraith GS) in Welsh Schools Middle High Jump 1961 Coached Blackwood. Son Mark played No 8 for Pontlanfraith in 1990?s.
