Member of Newport?s all international team and 1922/3 invincibles. Made 170 apps / 42t: 1919/20-1925/6. Died Boxing Day 1927, age 34yrs after gastric ulcer operation at Royal Gwent. Hundreds lined streets in Newport for his funeral with his coffin carried by 6 ex-Newport and Wales captains.
