Having previously played for Pontypridd, Swansea and Celtic Warriors Kevin made his debut for Newport Gwent Dragons against Cardiff Blues on 11th September 2004. His Wales debut came on 5th July 1997 against USA collecting 47 caps up to September 2007 against Japan.

One of the most talented fullbacks in international rugby, Kevin's wealth of experience and blistering pace gave him an eye for the try line. Kevin's rugby often plagued with injury yet he demonstrated the ability and determination to bounce back - fighting his way into the Welsh squad in September 2006 where he remained under Mike Ruddock and Gareth Jenkins. Kevin captained the season in 2006/07.

Kevin made his debut for Newport RFC at Rodney Parade against Neath on 28th February 2009 (Won 34 v 32).
