Attended Monmouth School. Played for Welsh Schools U16 & U18, Natal U19, Durban Harlequins, Pontypool. Won Newport RFC's Boucher Award 1997-08. Joined Pontypridd - played for Welsh XV 2002. Played for Celtic Warriors (2003-04) - won 4 Welsh caps, Leeds Tykes (2004-05)and Perpignan before signing for Newport Gwent Dragons.

Newport RFC record :1996-07 to 1998-09 : 62 appearances / 2tries.

Forced to retire as a player through injury at end of 2008-09 season.
