South African born - attended Diocesan College, Cape Town. Came to Wales as development player. Newport RFC debut Sunday 18th November 2001 vs Uruquay at Rodney Parade (Won 59 v 5). Won Welsh caps 2003-04 with Newport Gwent Dragons but also played for Newport RFC (2 appearances / 1try). Signed for Harlequins 2006-07 and later moved to Worcester Warriors.

After a number of injuries decided to retire from first class rugby before 2009-10 season to pursue other interests.
