Rhonda born "Train" joined Newport RFC from Bridgend Youth where he had been captain. He was a Newport Youth player 2000-2003 and also captained the side. He has also played for UWIC (capt), Pontypridd and Caerphilly. Newport RFC debut as replacement vs Bridgend 11th May 2002(Won 38 v 29).

Played for Newport RFC 2001-02, and 2004-05 to 2007-08 before joining Pontypool RFC.
