Back-row Richard has played for Pontypool RFC, Swansea RFC, Pontypridd RFC, and London Welsh RFC. He joined Newport RFC in 2006-07 from Caerphilly and made his Newport RFC debut vs Aberavon at Rodney Parade on 2nd September 2006 (Lost 16 v 19). Played for Newport RFC 2006-07 to 2007-08.
